Craters of the Moon

I have always wanted to visit Craters of the Moon. After Kayden was finished playing ball this weekend, we decided to experience Idaho Falls and make a vacation of it.

After dinner on Saturday, we drove past this movie theatre, we decided we wanted to watch a movie, the only one we hadn't watched was Marmaduke. It was an okay movie, not one I would have picked to watch.

The next day we got up had breakfast at Smitty's (it took us over an hour to eat, very good but packed). Then we drove out to Craters of the Moon. It was a rainy day but not real cold. Perfect day to look at Lava Rocks. Here are the kids at the visitor center. Kenzie picked out a pocket insect book (which she is still carrying around in her pocket), Kayden got an Earth puzzle book, and Tayler a pocket Planet book.
